RIP Whitney HoustonWhitney Houston funeral service was held in New Hope Baptist Church, the church where Whitney learned to sing. Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, R.Kelly and Alicia Keys were among those that perform at the funeral. Bobby Brown left the funeral early because they couldn’t accommodate his nine guests as three seats were reserved for him. At the end of the funeral the rendition of “I will always love you” was touching. Whitney had an angelic voice now she’s with the angels. RIP Whitney Houston!!!

The South African soccer team returned to World Football in 1992 after the apartheid ban was lifted. They won the African Cup of Nations in 1996 and have participated in three World Cups (1998, 2002 & 2010). In 2010 South Africa became the first country to host the FIFA World Cup from Africa. These are their best soccer players ever.

Date of Birth: June 26, 1967Doctor KhumaloDoctor Khumalo was the South African player of the year in 1992 and was named 62nd in the Top 100 Great South Africans of all time poll in 2004. Zambia vs CIV @2012 ACN FinalThe 2012 African Cup of Nations final match was between Zambia and Cote d’Ivoire. The Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire won the Cup 20 years ago while the famous KK-Eleven of Zambia crashed most of their players about 20 years ago. In the 69th minute Didier Drogba lost a penalty that could have made him the highest goal scorer of the tournament or possibly the opportunity to lift the cup for his country. After 120 goalless minutes of play the game went to penalties and Zambia won by 8-7. Zambia won the cup for the first time in their history.
